    • The biggest new feature in Version 4 is the Advanced Modeling Environment. Version 4.5 is a rendering upgrade that provides video export capabilities, new vector rendering capabilities and the ability to save and load render profiles. Version 5 introduces Papervision3D Export, Mesh Morphing, a New Interface ,and Render Optimization.   • How do I get my Swift 3D animations into Flash?

    • If you're using Flash 8 or later, the Swift 3D Importer, which is automatically installed into Flash at the time you install Swift 3D, allows you to import the .SWFT files exported from Swift 3D directly into your Flash library. If you're using Flash 5 or earlier, you can export from Swift 3D to the .SWF format and import this file into Flash.

  • What's the difference between Swift 3D, Swift 3D MAX and Swift 3D LW, Swift 3D Xpress, and Swift 3D PS?

    • Swift 3D is a standalone application, which means it's the only tool you need to create your 3D animations. Swift 3D MAX and Swift 3D LW are plug-ins to 3ds max and LightWave 3D, providing users of these high-end 3D programs with the same export options that Swift 3D provides. Swift 3D Xpress is a plug-in to Flash that provide simple and basic 3D functionality wihtin the Flash user interface. Swift 3D PS is a plug-in to Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended, taking advantage of Photoshop's new 3D capabilities by adding a a full 3D editor right within the Photoshop CS4 Extended user interface.
