What You Need to Get Started:

Windows VISTA or XP Operating System with .Net 3.0
As much as we would love to support the Mac, StandOut is a Windows only application. We leverage the Windows .Net 3.0 (WPF) framework as a playback platform for presentations, and require Microsoft Blend (a Windows only application). Microsoft Blend is used to create components for use in the Designer Edition to compose Design Kits (or presentation templates).

StandOut Beta Download
Standout Designer is for designers to create editable, shareable Design Kits. The Designer Edition includes the Presenter Edition, enabling the designer to manage the presenter experience. Upon launch of StandOut, you can toggle between the Designer and Presenter Edition via two Tabs to the right of the Menu. This provides opportunity to view a Design Kit from both perspectives.

Microsoft Expression Blend and Microsoft Expression Designer Expression Blend is the only additional tool required to create design kits. In addition, Expression Designer is very handy for creating vector-based design elements that can then be utilized in Microsoft Blend. You can think of Expression Designer as a Microsoft Version of Adobe Illustrator that exports graphics as XAML for use in Blend. Download the Trial Here
