Designers love to design and that's all we're asking you to do in this contest. Get inspired and create something beautiful, cool, inspirational, or whatever you want. Better yet, use one of your real world design projects as an opportunity to make your clients happy with some 3D vector love, while pumping up your bank account at the same time.

The only requirements? Use Swift 3D to add 3D elements to your vector design. Raster graphics are allowed, but the primary focus of the design should utilize vector graphics. We encourage you to experiment with Swift 3D's vector export and apply pen styles, symbols, fills, or any enhancements you like to the vector graphics you create with Swift 3D, once you have it inside Illustrator. We want YOU to show US what's possible, and in the process, learn some new tricks to make Swift 3D an even more useful tool in your design arsenal.

To enter, submit your finished artwork in jpg form, along with screenshot(s) of some of your 3D elements residing within the Swift 3D viewport. Also, include a short description of your project and a few words about how Swift 3D worked for you (it can all be very brief). Email everything to submittals@erain.com with the Subject line: Vector Love Contest Entry. Don't forget to include your contact information. Minimum jpg size for your submission should be 1024 x 768, or at least 1024 wide if you are designing something to a different aspect ratio, such as a poster. Also, feel free to use an alternate tool to Adobe Illustrator for your vector artwork. We just mention that one because it's popular and we're too lazy to list all of the tools you can use.

The contest ends July 31, 2008. The entries will be posted on our site and voting will begin with the launch of our August Rainstorm Newsletter. Voting will be open for two weeks. Electric Rain reserves the right to use your submitted images on our website and in future advertising.
